Calverton, New York — June 20, 2023 — Electronic Payments, a leading financial technology and payment processing company, announced updates to their ProCharge Desktop application that will enhance the product’s streamlined in-office payment capabilities. Updates include MacOS compatibility and support for the PAX A35 PIN pad, enabling a wider variety of merchants to adopt the tool.
ProCharge Desktop, released in January 2021, expands on Electronic Payments’ popular ProCharge platform, a suite of user-friendly payment processing solutions. PCI DSS certified to support transactions in office settings, and fully usable alongside existing software programs, ProCharge Desktop offers fast, secure transactions with contactless and EMV payments to improve checkout workflows and cut back on processing costs.
Previously only compatible with Windows devices, ProCharge Desktop is now available for offices running on Mac operating systems, allowing more professional services businesses, particularly those in Mac-driven creative industries like graphic design and recording, to optimize processes and save on payment processing.
